Through the theme of Connection, Innovation and Acceleration, Darren Jacobs, Chief Product Officer at ReadiNow, discusses the next phase of the product, giving attendees and clients at ReadiConnect 2023 an insight into how these three pillars guide our product development as part of our continual journey, and our commitment to giving our clients the most fully-featured, customisable and future-proof solution in the market.

Connection of not only data and systems, but of people, processes and teams. Everything in your business is interrelated, and Darren discussed some practical examples of how ReadiNow is bringing these things together for clients with governance, risk, and compliance solutions, cyber solutions, and environmental social and governance solutions, all underpinned by a no-code platform that allows users to adapt the technology to their business needs.

The rate of change is increasing across GRC, ESG, Cyber and Business Resilience, and its impossible to keep up unless we are able to innovate, constantly finding new ways to solve problems, new ways to connect data, processes and people through software, and new ways to anticipate and meet industry changes as they arise.

Through connection and innovation, ReadiNow enables clients to accelerate – to not only work faster, but to work smarter. To focus your energy on solving problems and innovating your business approach, with intelligent software automations that free you from mundane, resource intensive tasks.

Introducing the New Process Builder

Darren previewed a new feature for the ReadiNow platform, Process Builder, which can be used to define end-to-end business flows for entire business processes, including incident processes, risk processes, contract processes, and business continuity processes. Using a drag and drop interface, the Process Builder can be used to automate tasks such as notifying the incident management team of a critical security event and investigating failures in technical controls, asset impacts, and customer complaints.

Leveraging Automation in Incident Management

Darren demonstrated how automation can be used to improve incident management, particularly in the areas of control assessments, asset impact updates, and business continuity.

See how different ReadiNow modules such as the Security Incident Management, Risk Management, and Business Continuity applications can all be connected and linked through automation to provide instantaneous notifications and reporting to the users to ensure smooth incident management processes.

  • ReadiNow can connect different areas of an organisation to ensure harmonious inter-networking
  • Demonstration of connecting security incident management to risk management, business continuity, and complaints.
  • ReadiNow’s no-code platform can create solutions for new requirements that arise on demand.
  • Demonstration of how to create a new object, a contact record, to manage all communication that occurs during a security incident and how to specify the information to be captured, map it to data in ReadiNow, and import it to build a user interface accessible to users.

First Look at the ReadiNow Page Builder

Darren showed off a new feature called the Page Builder which allows for easy custom configuration of user interfaces. With the ability to drag and drop components onto a 12-column layout, parts of a user interface can easily align and be linked to specific data.

  • Demonstration of how to create a communication record page, complete with a button to log new records, a report to show recent communications, and a chart to show communication by entity and type.
  • Demonstration of how to add a filter component to search and filter.

The Future of ReadiNow is in AI

Darren discussed the importance of automation in keeping communication records up to date, and how AI can help streamline workflows, explaining that AI is no longer just a buzzword, but is becoming an expectation, and that ReadiNow has been hard at work finding innovative new ways to help users transition their workflows and accelerate their business operations with the help of AI.

  • Use cases for AI, including predictive analytics and data analysis.
  • Demonstration of how AI can be leveraged to suggest controls for cyber-attack risks, write procedures for compliance items, and provide typical steps for business continuity plans.
  • Demonstration of how ReadiNow AI can help automate everyday tasks so users can focus on higher-order thinking and problem-solving.
  • Demonstration of how the AI engine ReadiNow is building can be used to create tick boxes for compliance requirements, controls for risk management, and recovery actions for lost scenarios.

ReadiNow Customer Experience Centre Coming Soon

Darren announced ReadiNow’s plans to engage with clients and partners directly by building a brand-new experience centre in Sydney where they can brainstorm ideas and create proof of concepts on the fly.

The ReadiNow Customer Experience Centre will be a unique, first-of-its-kind hub for collaboration and innovation between ReadiNow, its clients, and industry leaders and consultants.
