MEDIA RELEASE

ReadiNow has become one of the first organisations to receive a JASANZ-accredited ISO/IEC 42001 certification, marking a significant milestone for responsible artificial intelligence governance in Australia and New Zealand.

The certification was issued by Global Compliance Certification (GCC) under accreditation from the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JASANZ).

ISO/IEC 42001 is the world’s first international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS). The standard establishes a structured framework for governing AI across its lifecycle, embedding transparency, accountability, risk management, and continual improvement into how AI is designed, deployed, and operated.

By achieving certification under the JASANZ-accredited scheme, ReadiNow has demonstrated that its AI capabilities operate within an independently verified governance framework aligned to global best practice. Achieving the first certificate issued under this accredited scheme sets a strong benchmark for responsible AI adoption across the region.

As AI becomes embedded across enterprise operations and regulated industries, the need for robust governance frameworks is increasing. ISO/IEC 42001 provides organisations with the controls required to manage AI responsibly while maintaining transparency and oversight.

Darren Jacobs, Chief Product Officer at ReadiNow, said the certification reflects the platform’s architectural approach to embedding governance directly into AI-enabled systems.

“Responsible AI cannot be an afterthought. Governance, transparency, and control must be built into the architecture of the platform itself. Achieving ISO/IEC 42001 certification validates the way ReadiNow has been designed to deliver powerful AI capabilities while maintaining the governance and oversight enterprises require.”

Eric de Vos, Chief Operating Officer at ReadiNow, said the milestone reinforces the organisation’s focus on operationalising responsible AI at scale.

“Responsible AI requires more than policy. It requires systems, processes, and governance embedded into how AI is developed and operated. Achieving ISO/IEC 42001 certification confirms the operational discipline behind the platform and provides organisations with confidence that AI can be deployed responsibly within enterprise environments.”

Global Compliance Certification recently achieved JASANZ accreditation for ISO/IEC 42001 certification, enabling organisations across Australia and New Zealand to obtain accredited assurance for their AI management systems.

The issuance of the first certificate to ReadiNow represents an important step forward in establishing trusted AI governance standards across the region.
